This Learning Resource is focused on enrolling for a course at an FE college.  Enrolling at college can be daunting for those with no experience of the college environment, so we made this resource including a video with the help of Esther, Sarah and Sam at Shipley college. The Resource also includes slides, teacher notes and worksheets focused on enrolling at college and what to expect from a college course.

'Enrolling at College'

You can view our video about enrolling at Shipley college here.  The video duration is 5.49 minutes. It includes information about the enrolment process and what to expect when you go to enrol. The video includes a tour of the college, and interviews with Esther, the Head of ESOL, and Sam, an ESOL tutor at the college.  This video can be shown in class as a starting point for discussion of enrolment and college learning. Some vocabulary is featured on screen as it is used by people being interviewed, so that learners can listen and read.  The video is also embedded in the slides on this theme.
