Welcome to Learning English Plus – a specialist online hub for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutors, volunteers and providers and an extension of Learning English in Yorkshire and Humber (LEYH).
We aim to provide a growing database of teaching resources, news, events and training opportunities to support ESOL provision across the Yorkshire and Humber region. ESOL Lunchtime Showcase ArchiveVisit the Archive
The ESOL Lunchtime Showcase is an online CPD series organised jointly by MESH and Migration Yorkshire. The sessions showcase good practice in our region related to a range of topics of interest to ESOL practitioners and those who support refugees, asylum seekers and other migrant groups. This archive provides a record of the sessions we have held each academic year, commencing from 2024-25. You can access full recordings of any of our sessions to review discussions and examples of good practice. We will add to this archive at the end of each year to provide a full record of our sessions.
