    Hive, a community arts charity in Shipley, Bradford, is seeking a community arts practitioner to join their team. The role involves delivering Flourish, a three-year creative project funded by the National Lottery, working with male refugees and asylum seekers in Bradford. The project will take place in hotels where refugees are housed and at local partner Communityworks in Undercliffe. The aim is to create a safe space for building relationships and offering support through creative activities.     ESOL Research Community Event 24th April Published on 6 March 2025
    In 2022-23, a group of 11 participatory practitioners in various parts of the country and from different sectors (FE, adult education, the charity sector) took part in a reflective research project to ‘take stock’ of where Participatory ESOL is currently at in England. In this seminar some of the research methods used in this project and some of the most significant reflections which emerged will be discussed.

    Migrant Help’s eVisa project – an information sheet is available. They provide in-person as well as remote support to clients with creating an account, explaining what the form is, asking and entering their information / responses, helping them understand the information and assist to follow the instructions given by UKVI.     SOLIDARITECH in Bradford need volunteers Published on 25 February 2025
    Solidaritech in Bradford repurpose unwanted laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphones, passing them on to asylum seekers and refugees to help them resolve their immigration status, pursue studies and start their lives in their new country. They have a constant need for volunteers to help collect donations, repurposing digital devices and redistribute to refugees and asylum seekers in need. It is not just help wiping drives and doing repairs – there are other jobs like driving, office work and training that is needed too.
