Des Hamilton Casting are a BAFTA-winning casting company for film and TV whose credits include the Oscar-winning feature 'Jojo Rabbit' and the Netflix series 'Top Boy'.

They are working with multi BAFTA award-winning director, Shane Meadows (This is England, Dead Man's Shoes, The Virtues), on a feature film which will look at the experiences of people who have struggled gaining citizenship in the UK. They are keen to hear from people who have migrated to the UK or from individuals who have sought asylum and  have been granted refugee status. The stories and characters will be built around real people and their experiences. Their voices will be centred and celebrated. They would love to hear from anyone who has never acted before but would be interested in being considered for a role in the film.
