Chilypep, based in Sheffield, are looking for an energetic, compassionate, and experienced team with knowledge of the UK asylum system and with youth work skills and experience to make a real change to the life chances of young people seeking asylum
- Youth Welfare Coordinator
- Two Assistant Youth Welfare Officers.
Together you will be responsible for supporting young asylum seekers aged 14-25 through both group work and 1:1 engagement.
You will help them to build social groups, reduce isolation, and access a range of social, emotional, and practical support while they navigate the complex and challenging processes of the UK asylum system.
These roles are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and references.
