Learning and Work Institute Conference on English, Maths and ESOL: A Higher Ambition for Adult Basic Skills - 11th November 10am - 1pm

Basic skills – including literacy, numeracy, ESOL and digital skills – are key to improving adults’ life chances. With participation in learning falling and current learning and skills policy development skewed towards Level 3 qualifications and above, the need to rethink how we widen access and engage more adults in learning is greater than ever.

Learning and Work Institute are hosting an English, Maths and ESOL Conference on 11 November where we’ll be joined by policymakers, learners, practitioners and researchers to explore policy innovations and effective practice in Adult Basic Skills.
