As part of the Swift Project’s training programme we are pleased to offer a full day North Yorkshire Conversation Club Workshop. This workshop would be suitable for VCSE leads, facilitators, ESOL tutors and volunteers, anyone who runs or would like to run an informal conversation club for people whose first language is not English. Participants of local conversation clubs are welcome to attend and can choose to stay for the whole day or leave after lunch. More details are in the attached letter.
The forum will take place on 29th April at Brayton Community Centre, Foxhill Lane, Selby, YO8 9TP, between 10am and 4pm. There is ample parking onsite and we encourage car sharing whenever possible.
This bespoke training has been created by Investing in People and Culture, (IPC) with a number of sessions being delivered through the day by IPC, CaVCA, Up for Yorkshire and Chain Lane Community Hub. There will also be a practical How-To-Guide to take away.
A delicious buffet lunch will be provided for all participants, please can you advise us of any dietary requirements by 5pm on Wednesday 22nd April 2026.
