    A pop-up one-day online ELT conference which will be held on Saturday April 6th. The programme of talks covers a range of topics including teaching in contexts of conflict and crisis, neurodiversity in ELT, teacher training and CPD, business English, trauma-informed ELT and using drama and metaphors in the classroom.

    These conversations are taking place in three sessions as part of Forced Migration and The Arts. The network encourages mutual support and collaboration, bringing together people with lived experience of forced migration, refugee and non-refugee artists, academics, activists and art spaces for conversation, dialogue and knowledge exchange.

    On the 20th April The Yorkshire Wind Orchestra is hosting a concert of traditional English classical and folk music in Crosspool. As a band we’re very aware of the importance of access to music and culture, and as such this concert is free for all those seeking sanctuary in Sheffield and beyond.
