Modern Slavery Awareness Film Published on 31 October 2022
The Leeds City Council Migration team worked in partnership with the Leeds City Council Safeguarding and Domestic Violence team, Hope for Justice (a charity working with victims of modern slavery) and West Yorkshire Police to create a film that raises awareness of modern slavery. This film is available at their website, and is also in the Resources section of this website for use with ESOL classes.

This online conference welcomes ESOL teachers, students, researchers and supporters. It will revisit the campaign and manifesto, and be a chance both to celebrate and to consider: Why were the campaign and manifesto significant? Is the manifesto still relevant? What has changed in ESOL since 2012?

Special Offer – Our Lives books Published on 30 September 2022
Special offer on the Our Lives series of readers written by authors from different countries (mostly ESOL students) about their experiences in their own countries and in Britain. Building vaccine and screening confidence in higher risk populations – free webinar program Published on 1 August 2022
