Tell Us More: ESOL and the Prevent duty
Welcome to MESH ‘Tell Us More’. In this feature, we aim to find out more about interesting or innovative initiatives for people working in the ESOL sector and others who work with migrants in the Yorkshire & Humber region.
In a short interview, we talk to key people, giving them the chance to tell us all about what they are doing and how it can work to help deliver support to learners. We will add to this series regularly, so do check the LE+ Staffroom for new additions. If you have a suggestion for initiatives we should feature in this series, or otherwise would like to comment, please do email us at info@yhmesh.org.uk. We would love to hear from you!
In this Tell Us More interview, MESH Development Worker Mary talks to Danielle King, Prevent Coordinator with Bradford City Council. Danielle talks about the Prevent duty and the responsibilities of ESOL practitioners. The duration of the video interview is 9 minutes 47 seconds.
