Learning Unlimited are delighted to announce a free short online self-access CPD course for ESOL/Literacy practitioners, including a self-access online activity for learners. 

This short CPD course introduces resources from the Erasmus+ Digital Literacies in Europe (DiLitE) project. It presents a socially situated view of literacy and language and introduces a resource from the DiLitE toolkit that supports practitioners and learners to analyse and understand how different literacies are used in social contexts.  John Sutter presents a series of short (approx 5 minutes) films, and then introduces the DiLitE resources. 

There is also an online self-access map-creating activity for learners that can be shared and completed over the summer break. We’re hoping this will build an interesting collaborative resource that could be accessed by all from the autumn onwards. 

The course will be live on the Learning Unlimited website until review at the end of August.
