Webinar on 'Migration Control in Practice'

For those interested in migration policies and their implementation, there will be a webinar based on the recent book Migration Control in Practice (https://www.editions-ulb.be/en/book/?gcoi=74530100978730) within the ECPR Standing Group Ethnicity and Migration webinar series.

The book collects the results of several ethnographic research projects on the everyday implementation of migration policies, from visas, border control and asylum, to access to healthcare, marriage-based residence and nationality, to migrant detention and expulsion. My colleagues Federica Infantino, Andrew Crosby and myself will discuss some of the main findings presented in the book and the importance of understanding and studying migration policies beyond the political parties/Parliaments/courts system.
