Topic: Ready, Steady, Write!

In this session we will be looking at ways to make writing more engaging and meaningful for students. We will explore the use of various strategies and methods of support to help students navigate tasks and produce writing that consolidates learning and allows the students’ voice to be heard.

We will look at ways of differentiating activities for mixed ability classes and explore the teaching skills we need to get the best out of our learners.

We will have a special focus on activities that are appropriate to students’ everyday life and seamlessly link with other skills so that learning is cohesive and holistic in its approach.
