Drawing on current research, the event will examine examples of good practice, discuss the challenges of implementing inclusive assessment in different contexts, and consider practical approaches to creating fairer, more representative language assessments.

    Rachel Oner – Supporting ESOL Learners on Functional Skills and English Programmes

    This training will aim to give teaching staff much more confidence in supporting ESOL learners who are studying on Functional Skills and other English courses. It will provide a deeper understanding of the needs of ESOL and explore relatively simple strategies and teaching ideas that can be put into immediate use.
    Time: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
