    Right to Remain: New Knowledge is Power sessions on asylum appeals and evidence

    Right to Remain has been exploring how to support people who may need to prepare for and attend an asylum appeal without legal representation. Through its Knowledge is Power sessions, the organisation has been sharing practical guidance for people seeking asylum and those supporting them. A recent Radical Solidarity Hub session also provided an opportunity to reflect on learning from these sessions and gather feedback from participants.

    This training is particularly relevant for anyone working with or supporting people navigating the asylum system and seeking to better understand the challenges faced during the appeals process.

    Rachel Oner – Supporting ESOL Learners on Functional Skills and English Programmes

    This training will aim to give teaching staff much more confidence in supporting ESOL learners who are studying on Functional Skills and other English courses. It will provide a deeper understanding of the needs of ESOL and explore relatively simple strategies and teaching ideas that can be put into immediate use.
