This Tell us More feature is all about the Student Volunteer programme at Kirklees College. MESH volunteer Basema talks to Student Volunteer Shahbanoo, and to Sophie Alderheart, Digital Lead for ESOL at the college. The programme is a resounding success, and is helping ESOL learners at Level 1 or higher to get valuable experience of being a teaching assistant in an ESOL classroom.

This training course offers a timely opportunity for clinical, non-clinical, administrative, or management staff working with children, young people, families, or adults, to reflect on their practices, share experiences, and develop strategies to support members of diverse migrant communities.
