    Out & About: Transnational Family Challenges Published on 18 December 2024
    In this Out & About John reflects on recent dissemination events for a research project we have been involved in, which has generated a new Learning Resource for use in the ESOL classroom. The resource focuses on migrant families and the challenges faced by young people who often have particular responsibilities because of their relative language competence.

In this session we are putting ESOL learners on centre stage as we explore the theme ‘ESOL Learners as Volunteers’. We will hear both from ESOL learners who are volunteers and institutions working with ESOL learner volunteers.
