Warm Spaces
In this Learning Resource we focus on the provision of Warm Spaces – what they are and how you can access them in different areas of Yorkshire and Humber. Warm Spaces are also known as Welcome Spaces. Learners can practice listening, speaking, reading & writing about warm spaces. In this pack you will find a set of slides. There are also teacher notes that suggest ideas for deploying the resources with learners at different levels, and associated resources to download including keywords.
These slides include embedded sound files so that learners can listen to the words and phrases used to talk about warm spaces and how to access them. You can use this as a resource on the web, or download it and make a copy to adapt for your learners. The slides and worksheets are also printable.
