Kompasi is a digital platform that helps practitioners connect refugees, people seeking asylum, and migrants with the right local support. It has a public service directory anyone can browse, and a secure area for registered organisations to save custom service lists, make referrals and share information across the network. Kompasi covers West Yorkshire and the Humber region. Make sure you are looking at the right area by choosing from the drop down menu at top right of the site.

The Manuel Bravo Project is a registered charity based in Leeds. They give free legal representation to asylum seekers and refugees who cannot get legal aid. Their mission is to provide free legal representation to refugees and asylum seekers in the UK, to ensure that no one has to navigate the asylum system alone. You can refer learners for advice and possible representation.

Language Issues is the journal of NATECLA, the ESOL practitioners professional association. The journal explores the area between academic research and classroom practice, discussing teaching, training, management and research into ESOL and community languages.
