ESOL Lunchtime Showcase
The ESOL Lunchtime Showcase is a free online continuing professional development (CPD) series organised jointly by MESH and Migration Yorkshire. The programme brings together practitioners, providers and partners from across the region to share effective practice, explore emerging issues, and discuss approaches that support ESOL learners and wider migrant communities.
Sessions are delivered throughout the academic year and provide opportunities to learn from colleagues working in a variety of settings. Topics reflect current priorities and challenges within the sector and may include teaching and learning approaches, learner progression, volunteering, literacy, digital inclusion, wellbeing, partnership working, and support for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrant groups.
Each showcase session features practical examples, case studies and insights from experienced practitioners, helping participants to discover new ideas and approaches that can be applied within their own contexts.
